Good places for deep meditation

This is not satusho, this is FUDASHO. There are 34 Fudasho Temples and are good for meditation. If we walk all of them completely, we should walk more than 100km. But, after walking completely we can get good spirit.

I went around 15 temples in 2.5 days. At each temple, I recited (read) the Heart Sutra and received a stamp in my book. I did not wear a pilgrim's outfit; I saw no one wearing one. I've just visited some of this pilgrimage temples and strongly been interested in. This historical Japanese pilgrimage is still working. I saw some dressed in white with canes. It was sincere and touching. Traditionally, we must walk through. But Modern pilgrimage can be done by bicycle, bus, car or taxi. To do as a day trip from Tokyo is possible.... More
