To get there, we had to climb quite a number of pretty steep steps and then we had to take a shuttle bus. But once we were there, I found the place rather deserted yet calm and safe. If you are visiting the Amanohashidate region, it is highly recommended to try the Nariai-ji Temple and beyond. This temple is in the North of Amanohashidate. There is a bus from the upper ropeway station (Kasamatsu). After watching the sand bank, you really should get on the bus to this temple.
