Stop over Takeda for a night and got recommended to this onsen. We are thinking should we purposely make a trip or we should just stay visit other place as we spent quite some at Onsen over pass few days. Ramune onsen-kan is a very popular bathing facility with unique exterior. Its walls use charred woods so that it looks really black from a distance. This makes the building outstanding in the area and adds special atmosphere to the facility. Onsen is really good. Worth mentioning is; they have a few private bathing rooms. Glad that we made it to Lamune onsen. It was unique and eventho it was winter when we visit, we did not feel cold in the not so warm hot spring water. Remember to soak indoor in the warm spring water before jumping into the outdoor carbonated spring.

I had wanted to visit Lamune Onsen for some time having seen an exhibition of the building's architect Teranobu Fujimori at the Venice Biennale in 2006. You can have a private room with two different bath, one is warm and the other is bubbling and cool. Also, the architecture is beautiful.
