We were lucky to still be able to catch the morning mist rising from the lake at around 8am. It was a 25-30 minute walk from our hotel near the yufuin train station, but a nice place worth visiting. Cafe la Ruche near the lake...More

Friends were there to check out the streets of Yufu-in, the lake was nice but it is what it is: a lake. Recommend was a nice stroll and nothing more.

Very cute small lake with bridges, make weeping trees, and lots of carp. Lovely short stroll from the main town of Yufuin.

We took taxi from Yufuin Station to Lake Kinrin with only 10 minutes. You may be disappointed if you have high expectation on it. It is only a normal lake, may be it is not the right season to visit there.

It should be called rather pond than lake. It’s surrounded by temples and shrines and hotels. Good place to take a walk around the “lake.”

Very beautiful lake in Yufuin area. Mirror lake. Surrounded by green and mountain. Nice cafe next to the Lake Kirin. Very enjoy sipping coffee and environment. Very popular cold soba restaurant close to the lake (long long queue).

Noting is exiting about this lake..it is just a small lake but good mountain view overlooking the lake. I must admit that the way to reach the lake it is good with all shops selling local foods, restaurants, cafes and local handcrafts are brilliant which...More
