We had an organized hike lead by the most famous Japanese skier, climber and adventurer, Miura Gota. The climb was easy and we enjoyed good weather so we were quite lucky.

My. Yufu is the symbol of Yufuin. It can be seen everywhere from Yufuin when the weather is kind enough to observe. Pictures of Yufuin without Mt. Yufu are something that essential parts are missed.

Yufudake mountain is the symbol of Yufu beside its famous hot springs. When you stroll Yufu, everywhere you can see this beautiful mountain.

A hike that can be done by most anyone with some incredibly rewarding views from both peaks. The majority of the hike is easy-moderate difficulty with some more complicated chain work on one of the peaks. One can see Yufu AND the seaside at Beppu...More
