This interesting place is good for pre-flight shopping: Farmers market - for local produce and groceries Seafood market - for fresh fish sashimi, sushi, oysters, scallops, lobsters, etc. (there are wooden tables and benches for eat-in) Souvenir shop - for souvenirs, wine, snacks, glaasware, potteries, etc.

highly recommended to drop by after renting car at Itoman. There's a fish market which you could eat different kinds of fresh sashimi such as oyster, tuna, and big shrimps. Next to it is a local fruit market and a souvenir shops. You could get local city souvenirs at road station.

Okinawan souvenirs, although made in China. Reasonably priced items ranging from socks to liquor to incense. Something for everyone. Stop in if your nearby. Don't make a special trip. Don't expect a wide selection.
