You can take a 45 minute walk up the trails from the Minoh station to the waterfall and then back another 45 minutes. With some picture taking and browsing around the village areas and the shrines, this may end up being a full day activity. There are several small shops and restaurants along the way, but when we went, almost... More

It's a great experience for us, we went last week of Nov. most of the trees turned into colorful, surrounding the park. It's 45 mins of walking, slightly uphill. Several shops along the way you where can stop/buy souvenir, and don't miss to taste the fried maple leaf, although we went weekdays there's a lot of visitors and locals are... More

Minoo park is not to be missed during autumn. Its a bit far from Osaka city but not beyond reach. With our Icoca card we reach there quite easily. There are many small shops selling snacks and sovenier along the way. Its a long walk but easy path. Along the way interesting site eg.shrines, bridges, insect musuems etc. Many places... More

A short train ride, albeit several transfers. We went on a public holiday so it is a shame to encounter so many people at the park. The weather is a bit chilly. The view at the few vintage points on the way to the waterfall are superb. The walk itself is very pleasant. We had a good time enjoying the fall... More

Mino Park is easily reachable from Osaka by Hankyu train. I went there Mid-Nov for Autumn leaves viewing, while the fall colours had not yet full set in, the scene was still pretty spectacular. I'd definitely recommended for an easy afternoon walk(the walk up from the station is slightly up hill, but the path is easy enough for elderly people)

Minoh Park is the starting point of Tokai Shizenhodo (hiking course along the ancient Tokaido). The visitors to Minoh usually walk from Hankyu station to Minoh Waterfall. It is about 2,8 Km, and takes 40~50 minutes' walk depending on your pace. On the way to the waterfall, there is a foot bath, an insect museum and many small shops.

We took the train to Minoo to walk to the waterfall and take pictures of the fall foliage. We were not expecting the peacefulness of the walk and enjoyed the vibrant colors of fall. There were signs when exiting the train station to follow to the walkway to the waterfall. The route begins in a business area with many store... More

We visited Minoo as we wanted to see the waterfall amidst autumn colours. Unfortunately, we were too early and the fall colours were not very vibrant but the weather was great and we had a relaxing, slow and easy walk to the waterfall. The path is suitable for all ages with many families enjoying picnics aong the way and children... More
