Caught the sunrise on the morning before we left and it was truly amazing! There are a lot of longtail boats along sunrise beach, but you can walk further down the beach where the boats don't normally park.

Cannot swim after and around 3pm due to low tide and coral protection. Beautiful beach, great snorkelling (the fish here need to be seen to believed) and you can paddle Kayaks to the small islands nearby.

It's much more calm than Pattaya beach and much more Zen. I absolutely loved it! There's plenty of restaurants and you can go paddle boarding or kayaking or snorkle.. I'd stay there again if I visit Koh Lipe..

Crowded and dirty, choked with thick black diesel fumes and the smell of rubbish, the sound of engines masking the lapping sea. In the mornings and late afternoon in particular the entire beach is taken up by boats as Bangkok Thais leave/return from their day...More

Could not believe how busy this Bech was. Much preferred Sunset but it further out of the centre of town and doesn't have as much beach. This beach was full of people and parked long tail boats.

I believe this is best beach in the Lipe. Very long and you can have very nice snorkeling. In the afternoon water goes down and low tide occurs but still fantastic place to be.

Amazing beach right at the doorstep of the hotels along it. There are longtails parked all over but not as much as in Pattaya Beach. The ends of the beach, north at the Moubtains and south at Serendipity are away from the hustle and bustle...More

From Castaway resort, you can walk down the beach and swim out infront of Cabana Lipe resort to the little tiny island just off the beach and snorkel.
