Neither the tallest, deepest or most water filled caves in the world. But the half hour tour takes you through caves made from volcanic lava, complete with good lighting and music. The museum is worth a visit afterwards. All in all we spend 50 minutes...More

The caves are enough long to keep the visitors interested, in the second part of the visit the simulations of the volcanic activity of the earth as the illustration of the earth center give additional value to the visit.

Went on yellow bus tour to caves. To see the lava pipes and presentations of how the island was created was interesting. Prepare to get dripped on all the way round. Not enough ladies toilets!

The tour around the caves is well organised & at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops & time to look at the areas being explained. The ground underfoot is damp but fairly easy to walk on - there are a few steps but nothing...More

We visited for the first time last year. The whole tour takes about an hour as at the end you are taken down to a small theatre for about 15minutes with a screened summary of how it all came about. We enjoyed it. Quite a bit... More
