As NT members we have been to many of their properties but had never been to Quarry Bank. What an amazing place to visit. We only had time to walk around the mill as there is so much to see, read and experience. The staff were very knowledgeable about everything and able to demonstrate the processes used in the weaving,... More

Great day inside or out. The mill is so informative for young and old. My grandson is only 3 but was fascinated inside the mill looking for mice hidden in all the rooms. We walked to Styal village where Mr Tumble was filmed for cabs. The gardens have old fashion games that the children love. Next time we will take... More

We have visited the mill which is interesting and a good option for a rainy day. We also got onto the guided tour of the Apprentice House & gained an insight into the lives of the children that worked there. If the weather is fine there are some good walks from the car park. Easy option is round the gardens... More

Visited here with 2 of the 8 and the twins enjoyed the day seeing the old looms and wandering from floor to floor. Lots to see and do and the cafe was good for lunch - always a favorite event with these girls !

Decided to use our NT passes for the first time this year and went here. The lady who was in the Apprentice House was really good, and the tour was both entertaining and very informative. I think this was my favourite part of the visit, but the actual mill was very interesting too! We will return in better weather to... More

What a terrific attraction. After seeing the brilliant 'The Mill' TV series ( set at Quarry Bank ) this has been on my bucket list for a long while. It turned out to be one of the best days out I've ever had.It adds to the experience if you are interested in the history of the place. It's easy to... More

On a wet and cold day we decided to make the most of our NT passes and went to Quarry Bank Mill. A superb few hours were spent wondering around the old mill. There was a mouse trail to keep the little ones entertained as they loved exploring the rooms looking for the hidden mouse. A spinning demonstration kept everyone... More
