Good place to start as it provides an overview of the Westlands and its historic development. Definitely a place for boat building enthusiasts. Remember to get a map with the list of stones at the stone park.

The museum offers a cinema showing rather poor short 2D movies, otherwise only an exhibition of pictures and words. Bad attempts have been made to make the exhibition exciting. Too bad. Could easily be made exciting for both kids and adults. Opening hours only weekdays...More

We find all Norwegian Museums to be of an exceptionally high standard. There is such National and Regional Pride.

Suzy gave me priceless tips for the Rosendal area as well as Hardangerfjorden area, including a drive up to Folgefonna from Jondal. She was so lovely, listened and therefore understood exactly what I was looking for. I didn't enter the exhibition.
