This is a really neat spot to see. A bit touristy, but there are local "guides" within the temple and if you pay them a small amount they will tell you the history of the temple and how to cleanse in the holy water.

This is the first and most beautiful temple I have ever seen :) I enjoyed every minute spent there! Such a beautiful architecture and so beautiful nature. People go there to see and drink the water that gives "eternal youth" and for blessings. You can...More

Its very special place for the people of Bali as they perform some rituals there. but its really very crowded. You need to wear the Sarong during entering in the temple.

This temple is a place where the locals perform a cleansing ritual. The water is not safe to drink. Carry your own sarong. The sarongs given at the temple are poorly maintained. Slightly crowded and also dirty in some places. But the statues are too...More

A interesting temple, where people go to wash in the holy water. It was quite crowded. It was nice walking around. To be honest my favorite part was haggling with the vendors about their wooden sculptures.

We visited the temple to lean more about the Hindu culture and history. The visit was educational and a nice architectural beauty. Would recommend as a stop while visiting Bali.

I enjoyed visiting this temple. We were there in November and it was not too crowded with tourists. After buying your ticket, you have to get a sarong (for free) before getting into the temple. You can watch worshippers getting into the water and going...More

100% recommend. Don’t wear makeup as it will be ruined when you’re in the water. Ladies must tie up their hair. Free sarongs. Costs 50,000 IDR entry. Pay for a locker and a water sarong and partake in the ceremony. There are locals around that...More

You don’t need to book anything through a tour group. There is a Kiosk outside the temple to buy ticket. You need someone (driver) to get you there, but fix with him the transportation cost.
