This isn't a luxury resort by any means, but easy to navigate, right in town, reasonably priced and great snow even in late spring. Our family are soft black diamond folks so a few of the runs caught us off guard, but all the better!!

Only 3 chair lifts were open on weekdays plus gondola on weekends. Should close the resort - conditions are poor especially at the bottom of the slopes. Up slopes is usually close in the afternoon due to high winds. Snow conditions are poor - very sticky.

Arrived at the end of March and skied into April. The snow falling as I arrived was the pretty much the last of the season, but meant there was some off piste available to start the week but as time went on we largely stayed on the piste. There is good range of skiing across the 4 resorts with pistes... More

First time skiing so decided to enroll for ski lessons. I had a great time here with the 4 to 5 hours of ski lesson and enjoying the powder snow that Niseko had to offer. Although it was only 1 day of skiing, I enjoyed this addictive sport and will certainly be back again for more.

I was worried about the weather and the possible lack of snow due to the warming temperatures but was actually shocked at how good the conditions were. My only complaint is that the gondola is now only open on weekends.

The powder snow in Niseko is incomparable! We have been to Switzerland, France, Italy but nothing beats the quality of snow in Niseko. Although not as vast as the Alps but it's nice in its own way.

Fun all around mountain. Spring skiing with bluebird skies, doesn't get much better. Quiet village but of course it is end of season.

Niseko as a whole is made up of four small ski areas with a good mix of runs to suit all abilities. It's possible to ski all four areas in a single day if you're of reasonable standard, this helps if you want to explore or just work out which area you like most. When the snow is good there...
