This was absolutely my favorite find on my trip to Basque Country. It's gorgeous and fascinating from a geologic perspective, and the trail is well worth taking a walk. Went around 3pm and the sun was behind the mountains so the photos didn't turn out as nice as it should. But it's a breathtaking view nonetheless and the walk wasn't too hard if you get the directions right.

Online I had found this geological wonder that is found only in Zumaia, Spain. I was so fascinated by it that I wanted to see it. We stumbled upon this place looking for a place to surf. There were no waves, but we SUPPED, rode our bikes and hiked the paths. Just the most spectacular nature to see. I wish we had taken a tour to learn more about the fossils and geological history dating back something like 50 million years. Really breathtaking!

A nice seaside resort to visit in Spain when holidaying in the Bayonne area. Anyone interested in geological features would love this coast line, it is awesome.The beach is also superb and ideal for young children.I highly recommend a visit, standing under the rock formation on the cliff where the rock runs in thin lines down the beach is mind... If you are in the area, drive from Zarauz via Getaria to Zumaia. The beach there is very impressive and its a very nice walk along the coast.
