You can park at the Cable Station and then choose a route, you can also decide to hike to the top of the mountain but this is quite strenuous. I would suggest a hike up and then take the Cable Car down.

You can eat or drink when you get to the top. We had a great day and have amazing photos!! Try to get to the outside of the car to take photos, but on the inside-you know what I mean---don't open the door!

I am not sure, but I doubt it. They only mention children 4-17 so perhaps not for younger?
