a most pleasant outing every Saturday morning from Spring to Fall - fresh produce, baked goods, meats, jewelry & crafts.

I most enjoyed the foot massage, and my husband has created lovely tables for our home with the gorgeous wood he purchased (raw edges) - such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that welcomes one and all, even the pets. Entertainment provides a soft background to a wonderful experience every week. Activities for children included i.e. blindfolded children spoon feeding blindfolded adults fresh blueberries :o))))) Bought hand made soaps & chocolates for Christmas gifts.

Expanded market
Jul. 2019 • Couples
First time visiting this season. There are a number of vendors for a growing market. Crafts, food, fresh veggies, pickles, rope mats, quilts, foot massage and more. Casual atmosphere with stalls nicely laid out. Will continue to visit during the summer.

We love coming here, it’s a highlight of our biyearly trip to pugwash. The maple products are awesome, and the soap lady. So worth it.

Best little farmers market!
Jul. 2018
The little gem Pugwash has a jam up farmers market! It has been newly renovated with nicely separated vendor stalls. On the last Saturday of July it was a popular place to be with all the vendor spots filled. We visited several other farmers markets in the area and they were all fun and nice but Pugwash edges out the others by the variety and quality of the vendors. They also do a great job of maintaining their Facebook page. They do not have as much variety in food venders except for baked goods but it is a great little market.

Coming from Houston Texas and Halifax NS this is a bit disappointing. Small, not a lot of selection, and not competitively priced. OK at best

Cute little market
Jun. 2017 • Couples
My husband and I visited early in the year (June), so I am thinking that there were fewer vendors than stuttering the high summer. Despite that, there was a good selection of baked goods, some vegetables, perennial plants, a pottery vendor, some maple products, and some health/beauty products (homemade bug sprays, essential oils, etc. ) My husband and I came home with a selection of plants for our garden and a bag of locally roasted coffee. We will definitely be visiting again!

Not a big market, but friendly people. Food, crafts, paintings, pickles, flowers, meat, baked bread and more. Nice little town to visit.

Short But Sweet!

Had this place on my list of things to check out on my way to Pictou, NS. It's quite small but people are very friendly and there's some great things to pick up. I got a huge and delicious cream-stuffed crumble-topped icing-sugared donut-like treat, wish I would've gotten at least 2 ($2.50) Also got some yummy local green beans and a bottle of Donkin's Spicy Maple BBQ sauce from Maple Berry Farm, pretty reasonable at $3.50 for 250ml.
