We love Borth zoo. We have visited twice now. Yes there may be a few weeds here and there but if I am honest I love this, it adds to the charm of the place. Staff care more about the animals welfare than the appearance of the zoo and rightly so. Staff seem to know each animal well and have... More

I booked my child's birthday party here. Excellent value for money. Great opportunities to interact with some animals - the reptile show was FAB - and the staff went out of their way to inform and help. We will be back.

Small and a bit shabby, this place nonetheless exudes a certain charm, and is probably one of the better local attractions for young families on holiday. It's all quite closely packed together and doesn't take long to get around but the play areas are a good diversion. The staff were friendly and appeared to enjoy their work. The animals' cages... Well we popped along on a sunny Monday, we took a picnic and our 18month old. There is quiet a lot packed into a small site, as other reviews have said could do with a bit more weeding in some areas, but the range of animals was surprising. Our little one had great time, we also enjoyed it, although I... More

Can't knock the place, friendly staff and not a rip off, yes it has it faults, but that adds to the character of the place. All animals clean and looked it good health. Kids would love it and you get so close to the animals.

Whilst i'm sure children would enjoy this venue, we found the place to be very run down, with patched fences, imaginative use of cable ties and with overgrown and apparently unkempt enclosures. For us, 40 minutes was plenty of time to take in the entire experience. In fact, on arrival we thought that we must have arrived the the back... More

Found this little zoo when visiting Borth. The enclosures are in need of some de weeding/ stinging nettles and rails and barriers could do with a lick of paint. However, the range of animals at the zoo were very surprising. A great family outing.

I'm sure they would tell you how lucky they are to be in Borth, a small and friendly place by the sea. The owners are caring and take in many animals that have nowhere to go after serving their time elsewhere. We take our Granddaughter every time she visits us here in Wales and its always a different experience each... More

Husband and I took our 9 and 5 year old children here - they loved it. It is only small but reasonable entrance fee - £30 for a family of 4. Gift shop and cafe (we did not eat here but just saw the facility). The animals look well cared for. We saw the reptile show which was more of... More
