Borth and Ynyslas G.C. may not enjoy the same prestige as it's neighbour across the estuary ( Aberdyfi ) but it has plenty of its own history and is a real test. Looks easy from the road but that changes when you are teeing off five yards from same road and its out of bounds all the way! Also the... More

We played the course on a Saturday afternoon when the course seems to be pretty quiet and the wind was blowing in off the sea. It's a real test of golf over the links on a still day with some holes you have to manage your way round, so with the wind it made it a good challenge. The course... More

Looked forward to playing this course but what a disappointment. Whole course needed a lot of work. Bad tees, debris & hardly any sand in bunkers, v slow greens, lush fairways. This is not how links course should be. Sandwiched between ugly sea defences & caravan park. Only 6 people on course, i wonder why!! Clubhouse needs updating. Borth itself... More

A cracking course right next to the sea- very well kept and at just £20 a round excellent value for money . Club house was clean and tidy. Served a lovely pint of cider after a long walk around the course.

Borth is what I'd call a real Links golf course . The sea comes in to play on some holes and the road running through the course on others . The use of space and the layout is fantastic we found the condition of the greens to be top notch and as good as anything around true and quick .... More

I played the course in February 2015. Despite heavy winter rain, it was in excellent condition.. The links were challenging, the members welcoming. I shall definitely visit again.

Had a lovely round at Borth. This is a seaside links course right next to the beach. The course was in great condition and was a tough but fair challenge. Met a really friendly bunch of members in the clubhouse afterwards. I have played a lot of courses in mid/west Wales and this is one I would definitely go to... More

Visited as part of a group of 5 golfers on holiday. Arrived early and hoped for drinks, after a fairly long journey. Catering staff were less than helpful, anything was too much trouble. Not a way to attract visitors. The changing rooms were dirty, and extremely smelly, could do with a good deep clean. The course was not in very... More

First i must say this is a typical link's course but the 1st 2nd 16th and 17th are along side the main road into borth which in our case was nerve wracking to say the lesst the greens were lightning fast but true a flat course so no climbing a real pleasure the staff were very friendly and helpful so...
