This was my last scheduled tour to wrap up my trip to Bohol. And oh my gosh, it was more magical than I had expected!!! I fell in love immediately.. with the peaceful river, the lovely people, the amazing night sky (the stars were A+++!!!), and of course, the fireflies (we had one that stuck to us whom we called... first I thought it was expensive, at the end I thought it was cheap. very good service with pick up and return at your hotel, cool staff. The kayak trip is absolutely marvellous, it is a special feeling to kayak in the dark among mangroves and then face the celestial beauty of thousands of fireflies, a unique experience. then dinner... Kayakasia's evening kayaking trip is excellent. It is well organised, the equipment is good, the guides are so knowledgeable and passionate about the local community and environment. We spotted several trees full of fireflies which were magical to watch, enjoyed a couple of hours kayaking on the river, and were rewarded with really good food at the end, along with... More

This incredible team not only organised our kayaking excursions, but also organised our entire six days in Bohol for us. It was so great holidaying without organising each day. I highly recommend them. Everything went so smoothly, with great communication and their prices were really competitive. As for the kayaking experience. if you don't HAVE to choose between the mangroves... More

Booked the Firefly Kayaking as soon as we confirmed our schedule, and completed the transaction in less than a day via Facebook messenger. Had a bit of a problem contacting their FB on the day itself (probably due to network issues), but sending an SMS fixed that right away. They picked us up at our hotel on time and driven... More

My friends and I had a great experience with Kayakasia. It is a little bit expensive but it is worth it. Rey and his team are very friendly and professionals. Kayaking while you see millions of fireflies is very unique. Great food at the end of the trip as well. I would definitely recommend it.

We booked the Kayakasia trip at Alona Beach. We were picked up at our hotel on time by a van and driven to Bohol, quite a distance, to Kayakasia's base on the river. Once we arrived, the activity was well organized. We were given life jackets, organized into groups, told how to paddle and loaded into double kayaks. Our guide,... More

I'm not new to firefly watching. This one in Abatan River, however, is uniquely enjoyable because of the challenge involved. Imagine kayaking for two hours and a great bonding activity with friends and loved ones! We left the station before dark so we could enjoy the scenery. The palms lining the river were a refreshing sight, and the reflection of... More
