Steam railway travel, paid for the first class carriage £13 return but preferred the normal carriages, came back in the buffet carriage. Staff are all volunteers and are really lovely people, some are quite old but obviously have a passion for what they do. Impressive

We took our dogs on the railway. It was so reasonably priced and the dogs went free. The carriages were spotlessly clean with welcoming buffet cars. People were so nice. Please support these guys as their enthusiasm for what they do makes you feel part...More

Bit rough and ready! Wouldn't go if you're a rail enthusiast. It's ok for families and people who just want a ride on a train.

We enjoyed our trip on the railway and our little boy particularly liked the experience. The two stations and train itself offered lots of history and charm. But it did feel a little expensive, 27.50 for two adults and a child for a quite short...More
