Loved the Abbey, it was very beautiful especially the priory etc. The grounds are stunning and there are various walks to go on for all abilities. Probably could've done with a few more info points though. I came away from the Abbey having learnt everything...More

Unfortunately we weren't here long as we were part of an organised coach trip! We parked near the toilets then took a short walk down to the Abbey ruins and thought what a wonderful site it is! There was a bridge across the Rive Wharfe...More

We love walking up at Bolton Abbey, it's so nice year round. The cafe is great for people with restricted diets too which is always a bonus.

Visited Bolton abbey estate on a sunny day, it wouldn't be much fun otherwise. It's a great place for a walk or just to chill at the side of the river Wharfe. It cost £10 to park at the main car park which at first...More

Called here for a sandwich and for the dog to have a swim. We only wanted to stop for an hour or so but had to pay the full vehicle price of £10.95 which is understandable due to the cost of upkeep of the grounds....More

Iv seen a few reviews saying that the welly walk it's quite dangerous as it has a lot of sheer drops and very narrow paths, is it really that bad. Does anyone have any pictures so I can make an informed decision as to whether to do it or not with children. Thanks
