Dog friendly & so quiet compared to the beaches in St Ives...golden sand & very clean. I'm not that fit at the moment so we found access was easiest by driving to the car park near the Church at Lelant then turned left just past...More

This beach has a fabulous expanse of pale golden sand. We accessed it from Carbis Bay by walking along the coastal path, however one can get to it along the water's edge from Carbis Bay when the tide is out. When approaching via the coastal...More

An extensive beach a short distance from St Ives. It is very flat and the tide comes in quickly so you need to keep a watchful eye on the sea.

If you're looking for a massive expanse of quiet unspoilt sand this is your beach. It's like having your own beach...just a few dog walkers (all year round) and miles of sand and waves. Love it....also you can walk to Lelant for a cuppa or...More

We absolutely loved this beach, wide open space for the dogs and almost deserted. even on a 'busy' day there was nobody within 200 yards of us. It can be accessed from Headland Road in Carbis Bay, there is limited parking, but it is a...More

This is one of our all-time favourite beaches for walking the dog. Huge space, fabulous views, and really easy to get to from the charming church at Lelant. A perfect place for getting rid of the cobwebs!

An easy walk from Carbis Bay or Lelant, remote, yet close. A great beach for walking your dog, or having a stroll. The dunes are an interesting little wilderness, with wind-thrawn sycamores and hawthorns.

I'm sorry I don't know. We stayed on a campsite outside of st Ives (about 10minutes). I've only been there once and I'm going again in May but staying in a house rental in st Ives instead. I would imagine there lots of... More

As far as I am aware there isn't any parking for Porth Kidney sands, it's a walk I'm afraid. We were staying at Carbis Bay so walked along the cliffs from our accommodation but there is public parking in Carbis Bay. I... More
