Nicely renovated house both from outside and inside.There is a possibility for english audioguide which explains the different milestones and details of Levi Strauss’s life.
The exhibition itself well done, the audio/videos are also quite informative.

I was expecting much more from the museum. Right now, one spends the time practically just listening to the audio guide and that's it. There ins't practically anything in the building itself, or at least anything that interesting. Maybe just spend 15 minutes reading the...More
We enjoyed walking around this little town, even went cherry picking in the nearby parks. The museum itself was a little boring. I did find some of the information interesting about how jeans came to be. The museum itself is done nicely in the house.
After seeing the intriguing sign on the autobahn. We drove into the very villagey centre of Buettenheim and found the Museum of the birthplace of Levi Strauss of Jeans garment fame. Not only was the house well kept externally but the many exhibits were not...More
