This part of the path has a step ascent from Branscombe beach with views worth waiting for , or a less challenging but bracing cliff top walk from either Beer or Branscombe

We walked from Seaton to Branscombe and took the undercliff path after leaving Beer. It was absolutely beautiful, you walk through a little forest and get the most stunning views of the cliffs. My favourite walk. We stopped for coffee at Branscombe at a lovely...More

Great leisurely walk. Heading west from Beer, chose the lower path through the gap created in the cliff fall of 1790. One section near the top can bring your heart to your mouth as you stand on the edge looking down the narrow path. This...More

This is one of our absolute favourite walks - it's open cliffs and vast views of the sea, then a varied scramble along the path through the undercliff. Just stunning.

If you get bored sitting the beach and you want to burn that full English breakfast, then this walk is just the thing! There is a mixture of steps, steep uphills and downhills. Some muddy bits and lots of growth. Some areas are very jungle...More

This is a must - particularly early evening - as you look across Branscombe/Sidmouth way it's easy to imagine Jurassic times.

We walked from Seaton to Beer then onto Bransombe. The Seaton to Beer part is not great as a fair bit has been lost due to landslip so you end up walking alongside the road but from Beer to Branscombe is excellent for views. We...More

We attempted the SW Coast Path on the recommendation of locals who said it was the only way to appreciate the sublime coastal views. We started off at Beer beach in the hope of getting to Branscombe, 2 miles away, within the hour. We managed...More
