We rented a car for a week and drove from Rodney Bay. Was expecting the rough road down to the beach, we cheered in the car when we arrived. Paid $10 each resort fee at the gate, but this is redeemable at the beach restaurant so ok. Paid $20 for a normal sun lounger and umbrella which was worth it... More

We came here as we had heard about snorkeling. It was the best we have found on the whole island. There were a few vendors but they were very respectful and kept their distance. A few trips came in from cruise ships early afternoon when it got a bit busy but they were not there for long so it was... More

My wife and I stopped here on 2 different occasions taking private boat tours to snorkeling destinations, and we loved it. There are no roped off areas here like there are at Sugar Beach and Anse Chastenet, and you can freely snorkel anywhere in the bay area. Both afternoons that we were here, it was very calm and peaceful and... More

Other reviewers have downgraded this beach because of the pesky vendors, or the fees levied by the Ti Kaye resort. They just aren't doing it right! If you go down on a tour boat, you might as well paint a target on your back. And you will only get half an hour to swim, during which you will be harassed... More

Great sport for snorkling on the right side of the beach there is a natural reef with lots of tropical fish and beautiful corals. First time seeing octupus.

This black sand beach is the smallest and less busy than Anse Chastanet and Anse des Pitons and offers the worst snorkelling experience on the island. Note that there are much better beaches, reefs and turtles in Barbados than in St Lucia! You will be sharing this beach with residents, few local sellers and few catamarans that bring snorkelers throughout... More

We came by boat, one of four in the area, to snorkel, it was not crowded at all. This allowed us to do our thing without any soliciting. That said, I can not comment on the beach itself. The snorkeling was the better then Anse Chastanet and Sugar Beach. The waters were super calm and the variety of both habitat... More

Never having snorkeled before this was quite a treat! Lovely area to explore, wish I could have stayed longer. Beach area very nice as well. Lots of folks offering to "tow" you with their boats to where you want to go, don't take them up on it...they are looking for tips. Otherwise, perfect way to spend an afternoon!!!
