Affluence can dramatically vary from one day to another. On 31st December there less than 50 sunbathers on the beach, the next day there were 1,000s of people, (local families with pick-up vehicles). Oviously avoid to be there on that day.

The tide was in (again). unsafe for swimming due to the big waves. The area is ok if a little off the beaten track. The small Queen's park is a nice diversion for the kids. Not a great deal to do there other than chill.

During our visit the sea was very rough with big waves, it was unfortunate we could not swim, however the place was fantastic.

Better to be away from the crowds and people bothering you to buy stuff. Ts is the place for that reason of beach goer. Great to read a book and just chill out listening to the waves.

We drove a good couple of kms to get to Hua Hin but weren't impressed with the beach itself and turned around without even going into the water. The surroundings are beautiful but the beach is not the white sand and clear blue water beach we were after. I'd rather recommend Yao Beach or Yong Ling Beach much further south... More

About 45 km from Trang City or 5-8km from Pak Meng Pier near Sikao this beach was easy to find. It was quiet which made a pleasant change from Pak Meng. The tide was out and we walked to a cave/cliff about 1/2km. It was amazing! Gorgeous views. A perfect day out
