In the middle of my trip to the east coast, my friend Jenny had done her research on TripAdvisor :) and decided this was the best way to do whale watching and she was right! This whale watching trip was truly a highlight in my life when it comes to adventure. The one thing that really sets this whale watching... More

Most fantastic whale watch trip ever. Captain and crew went out of their way to make it exciting and comfortable. We even tracked an orca for a short while.

When we set out for our cruise and tour, it was an extremely foggy day but the crew were not about to let that dampen our potential to see whales. The crew are not just tour guides but scientists too. We did see whales and every time we saw one, they took a photo and make notes in a log.... More

Great sunny day. Started off seeing porpoises which was nice. Sun was shining and crew was doing nice job looking for whales. Lo & behold 3 decided to humor us, 2 adults & a baby. They played next to us for a while then went deep, would resurface in 10ish minutes. Then they would play around some more this went... More

We lucked out on the day that we sailed with Mariner Cruises. The whales were available for viewing. We saw a mom and her calf, and the calf rolled in the waves and played; but the best was a huge adult, that clearly enjoyed hanging around the vessel. It even raised its snout far out of the water, less than... More

What a fantastic adventure to see the humpback whales! Our original trip was canceled the previous day due to weather, but we were easily accommodated the following day. The vessel and crew arrived promptly. Their compassion was evident before we left the pier, as they assisted a handicap gentleman down the long plank so he could board safely. We were... More

Make a reservation before making your way to Brier Island to avoid disappointment. Great tour, knowledgeable director and captain who get just as excited as the visitors when up close with the whales. So glad we were able to do this - highlight of our trip#

A wonderful afternoon. We must have seen at least twenty Humpbacks and quite a few Dolphins. It's a bit of a schlep to get there but worth every inch. The crew were friendly and knew their business. I got some great photographs and some great memories.

We went on a Sunday, so the boat was full, but Penny and her crew handled the guests well, including several who were seasick in 4-ft. seas. We saw a lot of whales, primarily humpbacks who came very close to the boat. Penny and her crew are very knowledgeable and provided a lot of educational information about these magnificent mammals.... More
