When I visit Briar Island this location is always a must for me. It is a great spot for birdwatching, usually providing rarities. I've been going there for about 30 years now and in the fall it is one of the better locations for seeing large groups of hawks. In September and October groups of 100-200 broadwinged hawks are seen. This is also a great location for turkey vultures. Seals are abundant as are other seabirds and shorebirds. If you hit a dry spell with the birds the scenery is still worth it as is the exercise. The only downfall is the ATV activity and dirt bikes that go over the dunes and the beach itself. Due to where the island is this is common there.

This is a great spot for swimming, building sandcastles, beachcombing, or all of the above! Whatever your pleasure may be, you will find it at Pond Cove.

Was recommended and shown where to go by the lovely staff at the Brier Island Lodge. This beach is great! Sandy at the top lil bit of seaweed and rocks if the tide is out. Kids loved the water as it is the Bay of Fundy depends on time of day how far you have to walk to it. Lotsa cool rocks to find found a quartz looking rock right on the beach. My son found a weird bone!

Walked the beach with friends while visiting Brier Island. Saw huge seals, listened to the crashing waves and breathed the wonderfully fresh air. Very soothing to the soul.

A real haven for the nature lover. Raw beauty of the Fundy coastline. Know your tide times to experience all the cove has to offer. Bit of a rough road that will have you thinking that you've taken a wrong turn, but carry on & you'll find the beach. Lots of sea birds, maybe some seals & with any luck you might even spot a whale. Great spot for shells & rocks. Explore the hiking trails and breathe in the fresh sea air!
