I visited with a friend recently and what a great little cinema. It was a busy afternoon and we enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the film. Really quaint when the guy came out of the floor playing the organ for the interval. Lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

It's certainly a blast from the past - Very chintzy and old fashioned with lots of movie memorabilia around the place. As a place to visit it's very interesting but I must say it really didn't need an intermission half way through a 90 minute film. The kids seemed to enjoy the opportunity to load up on sugar but for... More

Went with my teenage son to watch fast and furious and it was excellent, the picture was good quality and good sound quality too. The kinema itself is like stepping back in time and is lots of fun, in the interval the man pops up and plays the organ which is different but fun something you don't get at your... More

I'm so pleased this cinema continues to thrive. Wonderful venue, old fashioned yet modern and up to date in terms of seats, projection and cinema experience. Really worth a visit!!

Proper old school cinema with loads of character and a warm welcome. Food and drinks reasonable prices comfy seats and hangers for coats on the side walls. Current films showing (we went to see the new version of Beauty and the Beast(. Only possible issue was that if you are behind tall people who keep leaning from side to side... More

This great little cinema was great for my 2 year olds first cinema experience. The place is small and quirky and reasonably priced with free parking. The snacks available are not as expensive as larger cinemas and you get service with a smile. They even provided a real booster cushion for my son. Will definitely return.

A Trip to the Kinema is always a winner whether it's a matinee or an evening film - being greeted at the door, being offered tea or coffee and sometimes home made cakes or mince pies, or even being entertained by a pianist at the interval. 1930ies/40ies glamour-and it's authentic!
