The largest enclosed parc in Europe, full with bicycle paths, Vittorio Emmanuelle 's love shack, a handful of antique cascina nested in the green, and a cooking school - the place best kept secret - where you can eat MAGNIFICENTLY for ...14 euros. No crowds, or else they are so diluted in the 3000 hectares of forests, lawns, bushes and... More

We spent a whole day in this place. It is located just behind Venaria Reale. We parked the car at Tre Cancelli park entrance (free of charge). First we visited the Castle. It is nice and well maintained, the furniture, the tapicery on the walls... takes the visitors to baroque period. Then for lunch we went to Cascina Prato Pascolo.... More

After the palace and its park, we come to the Mandria park to get some rest and peaceful. It's very quiet and in spring it's really nice strolling the way.

It's a great place to walk, jog, bike or just wonder around. It's just outside of the city of Turin, no big deal to get there, even during your daily duties you can find a timeout for yourself. Be aware of on Sundays it is packed with really noisy Italians, disrespectful of other humans' and animals' need of peace and quietness...... More

quite a big park with options to travel inside by train (on road) , by horse carriage , bicycle and by walking. Very big but currently lacks basic facilities like food joints or resting places. The palace of the queen is closed till mar14. If you like to burn your calories, it is a vast place, otherwise not so .

The parc could be a sort of jewel, close to the Reggia of Venaria but the poor maintenance level (creating closures since years) and the majority of abandoned /closed building let it in a sort of limbo
