Visited here on the day we took an excursion coach up the valley to the Hinterlux glacier lifts but you could get there by the local service bus.
Our weekly Zitteral cards only covered us for the first of the 3 lifts up to the...More
Visited here in July. Paid €21 plus an extra €5 for a photo pass. Can't remember what that money went towards, maybe maintaining the caves... You could say you don't want to take any... Once down there they certainly don't check who paid and who...More
Expensive for what it is, particularly on top of the cable car price. We paid extra to take photographs, but the guide didn't check this so I guess we wasted our money on that.

Visited the Ice Palace as part of a day skiing on the Hintertux Glacier. No need to pre-book, just turn up and take a tour (departs each hour from the top of the lift system). Natural corridors under the ice have been expanded to create...More
You get to go on a boat ride in the the middle of a glacier at the top of a mountain... what more can I say. The altitude can make the walk back to the glacier bus a bit breathless, but otherwise absolutely fascinating.
