Today I brought my 5yr old daughter and my parents to Tayto Castle, best time we had all Easter. Our tour guide Lynore was so lovely with my daughter and explained everything at her level. Got loads of free crisps to taste along the way and a free six pack at the end. We loved meeting Mr Pat Tayto too.... More

Had an amazing day at the factory, including a surprise visit from Mr Tayto himself!!! Our tour guide Jill was so lovely. Both funny and friendly and made the time we spent at the castle really enjoyable. We didn't want it to end!! We did dances, actions and everyone got involved. Plus crisps to snack on around the tour too!... More

My partner and I booked a Tayto castle tour for today. We had never heard of the crisps before getting off the airport at City, Belfast. What a really interesting, informative, fun and filling tour. We joined a family of 4 children ranging in age from about 7 - 12. We All thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Warning - do not... More

All of our Year 10 pupils visited Tayto in February split over 3 educational tours. The guides were extremely knowledgeable about the workings of the factory and tailored the content to meet the needs of our curricular theme- The Factory as a System. The Tayto Tour Guides were extremely generous and everyone left satisfied and knowledgeable at the end. This... More

Each time I go I learn something different and fascinating. Thank you Jennifer, Lynore and Jill. These ladies make it seem that you are the first they've ever taken around. Their dialogue is fresh, witty and always appropriately geared to their audience. Best tip I can give is 'eat no breakfast'. Loads of free samples and a souvenir shop at... More

Spent a very interesting hour being shown around the factory and having a very lovely and lively commentary from Jill, our fantastic tour guide. She put us through our dance moves and tested our memories with facts about the famous TAYTO crisps! Plenty of free samples to try, literally hot out of the fryers or oven, you couldn't get fresher... More

Fascinating insight into how the famous TAYTO crisps are made. Plenty of free samples as we toured the factory and free goodies at the end of the tour. Well worth a visit.

Booked a month in advance to be told on arrival that the fryers were broken so we wouldn't get seeing anything working. Which was very disappointing and defeated the purpose of us booking. The tour went ahead and we were compensated with an extra bag of crisps but having paid £18.50 for 2 adults and 1 child i would have... More
