I had great expectations of gallery, particularly because an online guide indicated that it housed some works by Sorolla (my favourite Spanish artist). Unfortunately, Sorolla had been and gone since it was only a temporary exhibition. What the gallery did house was a modest amount of good 19th and early 20th century art by other Spanish artists, some of whom... More

No big name artists but many nice paintings well presented in a nice old building. There lifts for access to all floors.

MUBAG is located in a lovely old building which has been carefully and tastefully brought into the 21st century. The artwork is very well presented and there are some very good pieces.

Nice museum with everything well presented. Bonus was a temporary exhibition of 19th/20th centry art which was excellent.

Four floors of wonderful art displayed in a building that was once a palace right in the middle of the city. Serene atmosphere and all for free. Information is only in Spanish yet it does not detract from the enjoyment even if you only speak English. Take the time, well worth it.

Building is the' best part of the visit and also the way the items are displayed but nothing is in english (or any other language - only Spanish) - no audio ! no shop ! no pamphlet or written guide - really spoiled it for me - BUT it is free and has truly lovely and spotlessly clean toilets !

This Museum is full of wonderful, inspiring and beautiful pieces of art work. Many of Spain's celebrated artists are displayed on the many floors for all to enjoy. Breathtaking pieces of art work that shouldn't be missed.
