We used the bus and train throughout our holidays in Alicante and the services were great! The train does announcements in Spanish as well as English which is great for tourists. Locals are always willing to help too, highly recommended mode of transport!

These air conditioned trams are an ideal way to travel around Alicante and further afield along the coast towards Benidorm and beyond. You can purchase tickets from the machine on the tram (multi-language options). An inexpensive way to get around.

Always on time, and clean. Britain could learn a lot about Spanish transport. Where we were staying it was a five minute walk to the tram station and it is easy to use even if you don't speak Spanish

Its easy to get a bus to the Alicante Center. You can take it right in front of the Airport exit and stop near Lucero Station, and than get the tram :)
