Relatively small museum with very friendly staff. It will interest young and old alike. Plenty of interactive displays and lots of interesting information about the race. Usual gift shop and a restaurant.

What a great museum, with plenty of hands on exhibits that actually work! This is also the control centre for the Ocean Race, which you can see directly into from the back to the museum. Superb.

We enjoyed a 3 hour visit using the interactive displays and watching the many videos. We also went on a tour on one of the yachts which was fascinating and shows how tough life is onboard. What's better it is entirely free. You can spend as little as 30 minutes or as long as we did. All the displays were... More

Free entry, lots of interactive stuff for kids and adults alike. Absolutely fascinating to see about the rigours of the round the world race. Looks like it has a pleasant bar/cafe upstairs too.

We visited the Volvo museum which is free of charge, interesting place to visit but not very big in size. The children enjoyed it especially the simulator. Very friendly staff and worth the visit if you visit the port of Alicante.

Gives an interesting view of life onboard and also the history of the race. Just check beforehand if all parts are open. We visited on a weekday and both simulation and the actual ship was closed.
