Did the evening tapas tour, there were only 4 of us in the group, the host was v, personable & knowledgeable.
Visited 3 very different tapas bars trying a variety of food and drink in total enough for a evening meal.
I’m a vegetarian and felt well catered for.
Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to a sample the real Alicante.

The tour guide, Alberto, is great. Good information with facts and history and humor. And not a bad driver either! Guadalest is a special place, small enough to get a good overview in the time allotted . the Algar springs are a cool respite from the heat and a nice place to wade or swim (although the water is chilly).

Altea is a classic whitewashed Spanish village. Narrow streets, artisan shops lovely cafes and restaurants and great viewing points

The main square is really lovely with the church as it’s centrepiece.

A really popular and lively place with loads of atmosphere.

There’s a great viewing point just off the square looking towards Albea and just below the square looking towards Calpe.

Park at the bottom of the village and walk up to the top if you can. A great experience walking through the narrow streets and housing

We are a family with a 2,5 y.o. child
The buss trio from the hotel took 30-45 min due to more pickups on the way. The bus was full, so this tour is a best seller.
The bus has good air conditioning and it went kind of quick anyways
The village we visited was very cosy with some lovely museums. We chose 2 museums only as we had to find some place to feed the boy and we were sharp on time back to the bus. May be you will choose to have food prepared for your child and eat on the go if you want to do all 3 museums or/ and have time to shop in those lovely souvenir shops. We had just 2 hours all in all in the village.
After that we went to the waterfalls (20-30 min trip) while the child was taking a nap. Trolley we had with us was a great idea! That is a must to try the water - it is an amazing experience to swim right under the waterfall. However the shoes for going in the water may be a good idea.
For the child might be a bit too cold but ours was so curious and we held him in our arms dipping his legs into the water (17 degrees) he laughed. The nature is very beautiful there. Again the food: well you can grab some baguette with ham and cheese to go almost everywhere, otherwise it’s not so much time to sit and have a relaxing meal: only 2 hours in the falls. Trip home took shorter time. We loved this tour!

This was a very last minute booking. My husband and I had already been in Alicante for a week before we did any 'touristy things'. Initially we wanted to do a wine tour, but the One I wanted was not available. So Yes we felt disappointed. However, we were guided to Ali-Oli tours who had space for us going to the Guadalest Valley and Algar Springs.

Ali responded to my email very quickly and even out of hours. From his email, you could sense he was a nice guy. The next day he was prompt on time to pick us up from our Hotel and another group at theirs.

Ali is charming, chatty and very knowledgeable. The drive out of Alicante was really nice. Ali has some very interesting points and stories. The Guadalest Valley is simply beautiful and the little village very quaint.
The Algar Springs also beautiful and quaint. Although for me, perhaps a little too busy as I wanted to see the natural beauty of the Springs. Hard to do in the peak of tourist months. It was still an amazing experience and beautiful.

Ali gave us enough time at both locations so We could enjoy walking around ourselves, and at the end of both trips had a lovely Cool car waiting. Nothing was too Much for him.

My only regret was that I found out about him too late in our holiday. I would highly recommend him, my husband was also impressed. If you want a more personal experience then choose Ali-Oli tours.

Tip for the Algar Springs.
Some areas were quite muddy and i had both trainers and flip flops. My husband however, Only took his trainers, so walking the short distance from where We laid our towels to the Springs for my husband was slightly uncomfortable. Right at the top, (where We were) was more the paddling area, ideal for small children or people who do not want to swim. These Springs are quite stoney and can be slippery. My husband wore his trainers in the Springs. However, a better option is the shoes they sell at the store, before you go through. I wished i had bought them. As also helpful for stoney beaches.

You wont regret booking With Ali-Oli tours and he is an experienced tour guide, who speak very good English.

I had a wonderful experience with Ali Oli tours . Being a solo traveler and not being able to speak much Spanish Alberto who is fluent in both Spanish and English along with his staff who were very accommodating .I was able to grab the last seat on the wine tour , which I highly recommend . From beginning to end, the tour was fantastic . It was great to meet new people and have a local give the tour . Alberto was extremely helpful even after the tour on recommending other places to visit up the coast from Alicante . I'll definitely be back to see you guys soon . Thanks again Dave

I went on this trip with my mum, and we are so happy we did this! Perfect amount of time for everything. Guadalest is absolutely beautiful and definitely a must do while in Alicante. The Algar springs we great as well, very refreshing, however it is very touristy especially when we went in the middle of summer. Meaning all the pools and especially the waterfall are quite crowded and the restaurants are busy and overpriced. We did still enjoy our swim. Our guide was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for better, he had so much wonderful knowledge that we took in and appreciated. I absolutely recommend this day trip with Ali-Oli tours!

We were a group of 8 and had a private guide for the whole tour called Alberto who was fantastic all throughout the day. He was informative, friendly and you could tell he was passionate about olive oil and proud of the Alicante region! The tour takes place at a family-run, semi-organic olive grove in a lovely spot near the town of Relleu, and takes you through the entire olive oil making process from growing all the way to bottling. A highlight was the tasting session we had, where you get the opportunity to taste the four varieties the farm sells. We also met the father and son who run the farm and who were eager to answer any questions. To finish we enjoyed a great picnic with local cheeses, meats, wine and of course olive oil to spare! On the way back, Alberto even took us round the local artisan chocolate factory and gave us a free additional tour! What a legend! Would highly recommend the whole experience!

Ali-Oli was a great company to deal with from the moment I sent my first email. They were kind and efficient. The tour was great and we had a lovely day. I also thought that their prices were very fair in comparison to some of the other tours that we did in Spain. Overall a great day and I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

We chose Ail-Oli tours in Alicante over our cruise ship alternatives as my husband is a photographer and we like to stop and start when we want to. Alberto was a wonderful guide who was a wealth of knowledge. Our tour took us to Villajoyosa with colourful buildings, then Altea the white town, where we had an amazing lunch at a little bakery. After lunch it was off to Guadalest a safe haven built on a hill.
I really recommend that it does not matter which tour you do with Ali-Oli as they will all be fantastic. There is so much information given for each area and it is told with such enthusiasm that you will enjoy yourself.
