We visited this museum today. 2 out of the 5 properties were closed. Even worse, there was one poor donkey, excrement down its legs , no food or water , also three goats in a stone enclosure which stank...I spoke to two women who worked...More

This is a nice place for a walk round if the weather is good but it is a bit tired and not particularly welcoming, staff were at best off hand. We did enjoy looking at the old buildings and artefacts but some buildings on their...More

Take this hour to stroll, see and experience the former rural life on the island. It's all well taken care of.

Easy to miss, this is a real insight into how traditional Canarian families lived and worked 50-70 years ago. Walk around 5 homes and a farm. If you are lucky you will also see local artisans working on various crafts. Great value for money

I get no pleasure from writing this, as this place could be great, with the right leadership and investment. When we went in February 2016, the exhibition hall was locked, one of the little complexes was locked up, the toilets on the far side of...More

We love this place - old houses to explore, gardens, crafts people at work and of course the animals - donkeys and camels. A beautiful AND educational visit.
