This is a village built 200 years before the first turists ever set foot on Fuerteventura. Now a museum well worth visiting. Each of the seven houses are set out as if the owner has just left the room. The grounds are well cared for and...More

I get no pleasure from writing this, as this place could be great, with the right leadership and investment. When we went in February 2016, the exhibition hall was locked, one of the little complexes was locked up, the toilets on the far side of...More

We love this place - old houses to explore, gardens, crafts people at work and of course the animals - donkeys and camels. A beautiful AND educational visit.

An outdoor museum with houses representing how people here lived 100 years ago. It's quite cute and good to explore. There's a few goats and animals too. You are given a leaflet explaining what each house is.

The open-air museum surrounded by volcanoes is one of those ‘somnolent’ skansens. The only way to get there is by car. The place is not overcrowded (thanks heavens!) so you can feel completely free sightseeing. You walk there on your own with a small map...More
