I really dont get why so many people with cars were having problems getting there. the first important thing to kow is, that there are a few entrances (4) so i can only speak for one of the entrances (called "emeritus"). we parked our car there and just walked down to the beach. It's only 20 minutes, so no big... More

We took the challenge and found our way past the Agriturismo, driving down the hill to a small parking lot, and a short stroll through the woods to this pristine beach. Outstanding & deserted on our day in May 2016. Definitely worth the bit of trouble to reach. Wonderful sand, shallow wading water - perfect for a short or long... More

The dirt road might be a bit scary but its worth to take it. Even if you enter a nature preserve you can go on with the car. At the end of the road you will find a "parking lot" (3Euro for the whole day). At a certain time a little food car shows up and stay for 2-3 hours.... More

It is a fantastic place Gold sand dunes on the back, a long and almost desert beach, the best sea you can imagine in front of you. You must follow the sign for the Agriturismo Torre Salsa from the coast road SS115. An only paved road may look scaring (because you also do not see the beach close at the... More

This is a very difficult place to access which is probably why it is so beautiful. Off the SS115, there is a 2km mud road which is hard on the suspension of an ordinary car and only accessible during summer months. At the end of this there is a car park (3 euros) about five minutes walk from the nearest... More

We tried to drive into the Reserve but a mud filled bog halted our progress. We saw a couple of groups of well equipped backpackers, and we were only prepared for beach going. From google maps satellite I could see we were still a couple of clicks from the beach and it was an unshaded walk. So we drove back... More

Stop at the agriturismo up top and pay around 5 euro. Drive part way down and walk to through the woods to discover a untouched beach paradise.

We discovered that it is possible to arrange a free naturalist-guided tour of the beautiful Riserva. With help from Google Translate, we contacted WWF staff to schedule a tour for our family group of eight people. The staff called to confirm the day before, and we met them at their office in Siculiana. Then we followed one of the staff... More

I went here on a whim with my fiancee as we were looking for a nice beach. We weren't there during busy season, but we were also not expecting to see zero other humans for two hours. We had the beach entirely to ourselves and it was gorgeous. The undulating rock-walls at one side are bizarre and wonderful when compared... More

We reached the beach after a few km of dirt road immersed in the nature. The road is very narrow and two cars hardly can pass, so it's rather annoying. However, at the end there's quite a large park (2 or 3 € ticket). After a few min walk, the beach appears very large and great. At the time we... More
