The beach is really awesome. They have this beautiful bridge where you can take a travel inspiration photo. The cottages are really cute making it look like a perfect place to chill. There's also a floating restaurant where you pay 250Php for a free drink and access to the floating resto. The place is picture perfect though I don't find... More

The perfect weekend getaway. Reasonably priced. New management is definitely competent and efficient. Staff are very polite and accommodating. The view and ambience from the floating bar (island's highlight, so far) is amazing.Definitely instagram-worthy. We didn't stay overnight, but the day tour experience was all worth it despite the ongoing road constructions. Construction and development on the island is still... More

Lakawon Iand is a new gem in Negros worth visiting. After the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), the management decided to restore its beauty and enhanced it even more. Just a 1.5-gr bus ride from Bacolod City, you can reach this beautiful island. Though the placeis kinda pricey for an island within Negros Island, still I guess it's still worth... More

This place is an hour away from Bacolod City, two hours from where we live in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental. We went to this resort with a group of friends. There is an entrance fee, a conservation fee, a boat ride fee for Php 250 per person. Then, they inspect your belongings for any drink or food and charge you Php... More

Ive discovered one of the best new island resorts just south of Manila. Its Lakawon Island Resort. Just over an hour drive from Bacolod airport and you arrive at a port with large bangkas awaiting to take you to the island. Its a scenic 20 minute ride to the island. Nice! We had a large room with 2 king size... More

I been there last month of my vacation together with my sisters and friends. At first we were too excited about the place hoping that we would really enjoy and thought that the adventure would be the greatest experience of ours . We travelled for about 2 hours from bacolod city going to the island and took more than 2... More

Went there with my niece for its like 2 hours from bacolod city via public bus, then a tricycle ride to the small office where you can pay for the resort then a 30mins boat ride to the island , the island is clean and new, improvement in progress, food is great and affordable. The guest can reserve for a... More

The road getting to this area is no joke. It was bumpy and muddy during our trip for we have typhoon during our visit. You will wonder if the road you're really heading to is to get to Lakawon. When we get there no guidelines where to go to for paying all expenses needed to get to the Island. Though... More

Try to go some where else! Way too expensive, yet you can't feel the value of your money. They don't even have safe potable water for cooking, you have to buy their overpriced bottled waters. Place was messy, beach not as clean, staff not so professional and worse lotsa stray dogs all over the beach. They need a major revamp... More
