Drawn to the centre due to a very informative website. When I booked the lesson on the phone I spoke to a lovely lady who was able to identify my daughter's ability and needs. My daughter enjoyed her first lesson so much she wants to continue to ride. The 'little helpers' were so helpful, cheerful and friendly and my daughter's... More

A wonderful place. We had glorious weather but think it would have been almost as enjoyable in less clement conditions. I went on a 2 hr hack with one other customer and a guide. My horse was a tad reluctant at the start of the ride but after a change of position from the back to the middle Rosey went... More

Having not ridden for some years I enjoyed a well managed two hour hack into the autumn countryside. The guide was friendly and attentive and organised the ride to suit my abilities, balancing walking, trotting and cantering. My mount Nell was in good condition and willing throughout the ride. Overall a good experience.

Our family had such a brilliant time on the 1hr hack, safe horses, friendly attentive staff, well organised stable. Not having do any road work is a real bonus to inexperienced riders, down the track through the stream straight onto the moor. When we arrived check-in, kit, horse choice and riding ability were all done in a friendly and professional... More

Whilst on holiday both of my daughters had a riding lesson with Vicky, highly recommend the whole experience. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day. Very unique establishment, praise to the management for sustaining a wonderful ethos, the lovely atmosphere across the whole yard was one of cooperation and unity. Great instruction, lovely horses and very pleasant... More

Having visited here as a child and having many fond memories. I decided to pay a visit while on holiday at nearby sandy balls. The centre itself is perfect for complete beginners. I opted for a half hour lesson before going out on a an hour hack over the new forest. The lesson was with Julie and covered the basics... More

We pre-booked over the phone with payment, about a month before our visit there which was on bank holiday Monday in August. We - 4 adults & 1 x 8 year old grand-daughter - had a wonderful 1 hour hack for beginners, with a group of other people, in the New Forest countryside. There were no roads to cross at... More

My daughters have ridden at Arniss riding stables before. The last visit was 2012. I couldn't fault it then and i certainly couldn't fault it now. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and safety is taken so seriously and carried out with great care. My daughters went out on a one hour hack, through the beautiful countryside, and they had... Brought my 2 grandchildren here for a half hour hack followed by a half hour lesson. The 14 year old hadn't ridden in for a couple years whilst the 6 year had had a bit of a fright with a pony at home and had lost her confidence. The ponies they were put on were brilliant and both enjoyed the... More
