A small, ornate church undergoing restoration Beautiful ornate alter. It's located in the center of town by the main square.

Small, yes. Run-down, maybe. Cracked, definitely. Fascinating - definitely, though an educated guide helps! If you are in the square it is just behind you. It's damage is all earthquake based and the fact that it is still in need of 'help' is down to the locals not having the 'city millions' . You can always put some of your tourist dollars in to the collection box!

The church, with its roughly scaffolded tower, occupies one side of the main square of the village. Inside, in contrast with the poor & drab surroundings of the village itself, the church is clean and beautiful, with some beautiful artwork. If in the village, do go inside - it's worth it.
