It's expensive, does not take you close to the places. Staff speak only Japanese and is not polite. During our trip was raining and we have to stay on the top. Even the children. It did not matter that they were shivering and we were asking them to go downstairs. ( staff were enjoying heater ) . The headphones were... More

this bus only takes you to places where you can shop. you cannot sit on the inside of the bus. you are always on the roof and it can get very cold. they pick up times are about 70 minutes to 2 hours apart. the schedule is not coordinated and you could really get stuck if you are not careful.... I had read the largely negative reviews but decided to ahead as we wer close by and Tokyo has to be seen, in part, from the road - it is too vast to see much by walking. We did not hop on / off but took one of their three driving tours - no complaints really. The English commentary is... More

This is the best way to see Tokyo and orientate to a new city. Once you find out where things are then you can do your own thing on foot / by JR monorail or Metro. There are three routes, all can be done in a day. Two routes in a day will be more at a leisurely pace with... More

Firstly the departure point is NOT easy to find, took me a good half hour till I stumbled across. I took the Roppongi-Odaiba course, 2-hours for ¥3500 so definitely not cheap. It's not really a hop on/hop off bus as there are only 3 buses a day. For eg I'd thought of getting off at the Tokyo Tower which we... More

One day lost in Tokyo because of the irresponsibility of this unbelievable negligent service. I had already read some bad revisions about them, but i did not consider. They seem to offer a good choice, but unfortunately they cause me 'A LOST OF A DAY IN TOKYO'. I wait for almost an hour in a bus stop and nobody appeared.... More

My ticket cost me approx $40AUD for 24 hours. There are three separate routes and I managed 2 of them - the purple and the red. The pick up was easy at New Otani Hotel. I have read the other reviews here and I had a very good day. In one day I managed to get around a very complex... More

We booked the night time Odaiba tour. When we were buying our tickets we were each asked to sign a waiver accepting that the English commentary would be basic (which we understood to mean that it wouldn't be as detailed as the Japanese commentary) but it turned out that there was actually no English commentary whatsoever after the tour bus... Three different routes all aligning at the Mitsubishi Building in front of Tokyo Station. The best of the three is the green route going over the rainbow bridge. If you get a chance do the last bus and see the sights at night, great. Only drawback is buses need to be more frequent.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
