Too crowded, and had sashimi bowls with bad bitter fishy aftertaste. The foodie in me really wanted to love the place. Perhaps we chose a wrong place to dine at.

We were probably here by 9AM and there was already a line. You'll get the freshest seafood. There's also an option to eat outdoors.

I know there’s talk about moving out the market so you have to visit it before it’s gone. The market is divided into sections but whether it’s the wholesale section or the market itself, the scene is vibrant and snapping. Everyone always tells you go...More

I recommend Teishoku ya called "Washoku Kato". This place is originally a restaurant for Tsukiji workers. I went there because I didn't want to stay on the line for a long time yet I wanted to eat good seafood. Sushi restaurant next door was a...More

Access to the main wholesalers selling area is restricted until 10am. You can still go for sushi earlier which is outside the seller area. Easy to take the bus from Yurakucho St. Follow Google maps instructions to get on correct bus line #.

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
