I am not a mall lover, but I am just so happy I visited this place as it turned out their ramen was nothing but heavenly. You will find it on floor 2F at the food court in a restaurant called Tonkotsu Ramen. Ramen #1 with egg added with your own choice of spicy stuff and pickled ginger added when... More

Relatively new and modern mall for shopping and entertainment. You can find most of the thing you need here. In general, it is quite tourist orientated as there is always crowded with foreign tourist and the public announcement is done in Japanese and Chinese.

Visited here march 25 - 28, so many trendy shops for clothing, restaurants on level 5 including buffet style and steak house, food court on level 2 priced reasonably. We loved the ramen food was priced between 800 to 1,200 yen free water, and yes unlike the west were we just leave our food trays etc on the table after... More

In Diver City you can find lots of western shops, along some wellknown Japanese ones. I didn't find it very special, but on the other hand it was not crowded at all when we went (friday afternoon) so that was nice for a change.

Typical good Japanese shopping mail, with food court and restaurants spread out over seven levels. We ate at Cheese Craft Works - the food was fine. We took home some baked cheese tarts - these were much better!

Though I went here last year after my marathon, we decided to drop by to say Hi! to Gundam. The imposing giant inspiration never ceases to amaze me. People flocked around it this time. And good thing we saw this for the last time as it will be replaced soon by another yet giant figure which is the Unicorn Gundam... More

It was fantastic. Gundam moves and speaks, Japanese of course. We ate kutsdon, excellent ramen with seaweed and a small egg. There is a mall that has ceiling art reminiscent of Michealangelos' masterpiece

The big Gundam in front of the shopping mall is definitely eye catching. Though it is going to be moved away soon, thank you for bringing a good memory to all fans. Food court is awesome. The quality expectation is higher than our thoughts. If you are visiting this mall, please spend your meal time here.

We actually wanted to see the Gundam display so we hop over to this Diver City Mall. Many shops inside and is not crowded. Lots of eateries and food option available. Is kids friendly too. Is spacious and clean

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
