The museum is not huge but the exhibitions are quite good. The modern Japanese art where paintings were so good they actually look like a photograph.

Went there but the place was closed for renovation. Could find out when it will open again. So this was a big disapointment. Check if it is open before you go there.

I did not like the current exhibitions, anything that. It's more interesting the museum's structure.

The place is very interesting, the architecture very peculiar, has something very contemporary and something very Japan, very traditional Japan. Exhibitions cool and the area is full of surprises.

For those interested in contemporary art, I would say it is a must to visit this museum. The collection is impressive. The posess 150 works from David Hockney alone. A fee of them where shown in the permanent exibition by my visit. Very interesting overview...More
