I was disappointed in this area; my pre-travel reading had lead me to expect a much different experience. Hard to find a lot of places on my list and very tiring; nowhere to site and rest!

Up market shops which were scattered all the place. I didn't enjoy it that much. You have to have patience to go and find the shops and we were too tired to do so

Worth a visit, easy to get to .. typical sanitised shops, bars & restaurant.. but close by are some real gems of more authentic eateries ... go here first, have a wander, maybe a drink & then eat "off piste"...

I had high expectations about Roppongi Hills and finally I concluded that Roppongi and Ginza were much better districts. Roppongi Hills is a very nice place, do not make me wrong but somehow it is rigid, too much sterile and commercial. Anyway, it is worth...More

We only went here to meet someone but I can't really see anything noteworthy about the place. They tried hard with the architecture to make it elegant and upmarket and kind of succeeded but it is a confusing place and the end result is fairly...More

The shopping mall inside Roppongi hills is full of high end brands, and offers some good food options too, it is definitely worth taking a look at, especially during the night when it's the most scenic

Went to Ramen Ippudu. Good food. Friendly. Try the mince meat Ramen noodle soup. Spicy and Asian. Also order the sides shamelessly. Worth it. Pork belly. Yum.

This part of Tokyo feels very residential and appears from the outside to be one of the top end areas. Its very quiet, clean and tranquil. Definitely worth a look and there are many options for food in the shopping complex outside the station.

The architecture was very good! I do love the park. But the park was not big enough. I just love the architecture of the building and the design interior inside.

This attraction is right at the train station. There are several shopping centres and gardens around. You can go to the top of the Building and see the surrounds all around Tokyo. It is a bit expensive to go up being 1800 yen per person....More

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art

Is there much of a wait to go up to the top level and look around? Was thinking of going in the afternoon (maybe have a drink with some friends while I'm there) if its not a matter of standing in line for hours.
