The tour was wonderful. Our guide Haruki made everyone feel very welcome and he showed us many different things outside of the restuarants. I would highly recommend the tour if you are in Tokyo.

Mana was our guide, we enjoyed her immensely.
She took us to all the different restaurants where we could sample very unique Japanese dishes. The sake was awesome and made the dinner memorable. It was the highlight of our trip.

It was a great experience. Food was good and the sake paring introduced us to some new ones and matched quite nicely with the food. I really recommend specially if you are looking for a nice experience in english. The host was super great and helpful and we had a great time learning more about wagyu. Do give it a go if you want to have a good time and eat some good meat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening out sampling some of Tokyo’s great food and sake with Chizuru. From sushimi to Japanese BBQ, the food was delicious! We even went back to one restaurant the following evening for more. The walk through Shinjuku’s streets to see some of the highlights of the area at night was also great as Chizuru informed us about some of the cultural significance of the area. An evening well spent.

Highly recommend this food tour, especially with Joe as your tour guide!! Can honesty say I enjoyed every item we ate and it was so fun trying food I wouldn’t otherwise have tried on my own. All the drinks were excellent as well. Loved everything about this tour and again, Joe was an excellent food guide !

We had a great time con our food tour in Shinjuku. Andrea was very knowledgeable and took us to all the right places. The other people on the tour were all nice and we all enjoyed each other’s company. Highly recommend this food tour.

This was a lot better than I expected. I was in town for work and just looking for something to do on my last evening in Tokyo. Chizuru was AMAZING. She had just moved back to Japan after a 7 year stint in the San Francisco Bay Area so there was no language issue. She was friendly, very knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. The variety of food was impressive. Other than the sushi the food was pretty unique with unusual twists. I've never had okonomiyaki with mochi or juicy gyoza (it was the japanese version of xiao lung bao). It was a lot of food, make sure you pace yourself on the eating. I may take my wife on this tour when my family is in town next month.

Shino was such a warm and welcoming tour guide. She made sure we were taken care of and was very knowledgeable about all of the food we ate. She spoke English very well and made sure to explain everything. She answered any and all questions we had along the tour. The sushi was our favorite! Taiga was with our group as well and had great conversation. Shino was very professional and caring the entire time. We had an excellent time and would book with either of them again. Highly recommend this tour!!

Yes, we accommodate any age groups including children for all of our tours. A couple of notes:
(1) We mostly visit restaurants where smoking is allowed on the Shinjuku tour.
(2) It is a group walking tour (1-2km long walk in total on average).

Hi - average group size is 2-6 people depending on the tour. For the fish market tour, for example, we only take up to 4 people due to the fish market situations.
