This more than 100-year-old store is best known for its extensive basement food court, the perfect place to discover the artistic Japanese take on French pastries and chocolate. Upstairs, browse the kimono sections complete with obis and other traditional accessories.

Many floors for shoppers to walk and explore. There was a food mall in basement and it was full of people despite it being a weekday. In one corner, people were checking out desserts and pastries. In the cooked food corner, stalls were shouting away...More

Isetan has everything, but my favorite parts are the food hall in the basement and household goods on 8. The food hall is amazing-beautiful food from Japan and all over the world. The 8th floor is almost like a museum with beautiful pottery and household...More

Upscale store with fabulous food hall. Merchandise comparable to high end stores in the US. Best food hall ever. You can buy food to take home or eat at the store's picnic area in the rooftop.

Visited Isetan in Shinjuku in July 2017. It is one of the biggest and nicest shopping centres I have ever seen. Quality goods as far as the eye can see. I strongly recommend that you visit the food market on the first floor.

July sales are happening! Great deals and tax free. Service was amazing, all the sales people were extremely helpful even though it was very busy. The variety is excellent, definitely worth shopping here.

Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the
east, there’s a district with long-established
department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku
Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the
