Less crowded area when we were there in mid September for a cruise ride. Looking at all the tall buildings across the river was quite refreshing and serene. Recommended.

A nice walk along the river with water bus and views. It was cold and wet on the day but we were walking to the Skytree Tower so we didn't mind.

This pier is one close to the Azumabashi Bridge that runs into Asakusa from the Sky Tree. It is fairly similar to all the landings along the river but worth a stroll.

Modern architecture and perfect picture opportunity, this place was one of the best I visited that day. You must surely see it in order to appreciate the modernity that Japan has to offer alongside its traditional culture.

Quiet, serene surroundings away from the hustle bustle of the main areas. Make sure you visit nearby Asahi HQ when you're nearby.

We walked through the Hama-Rikyu gardens with a special tea ceremony. When in Japan there is a lot of sitting on floor mats, which we find difficult getting down, sitting and getting up. Nice to be young again. We enjoyed the ceremony and culture here....More
