The gardens seem to act as a waiting area for people to visit the shrine or the temple. Also it acts as a doorway to the shopping precinct. It is therefore not a pretty garden to visit but more as route to the other venues.

I found a small shop with kimono silk fabric remnants, a different sort of 'souvenir', several different ones were purchased. Fascinating to walk about and see what is available.

Wonderful experience ...we enjoyed a lot.. we walked around sensoji temple. All the tourists were clicking our photos we felt like some celebrities !! If you are visiting Japan then you have to take this kimono session.
